Borgward Blitzkarren

This is the first self-constructed vehicle of Borgward from the year 1924, a little, easily to be steered and cheap transporter on three wheels. Because of the low motor efficiency it was laughed at and its "asthmatically 2 h.p." were called "the visiting-card of a poor fool". But Borgward offered with the "Blitzkarren" the right car at the right time and months later the 100th "Blitzkarren" left the factory. Front loader and larger transporter vehicles followed.
